Derek Balcomb (63, of Detling Avenue, Broadstairs, Kent, Malcolm Gosman, 43, of Mockett Drive, Broadstairs), Christopher Redmond (40, of Harrowdene Road, Broadstairs), Edward Temple (39, of Prospect Road, Broadstairs) and Temple Fishing Ltd. admitted various offences of failing to inform the authorities of the accurate quantities and species of fish landed to the value of approximately £400,000 during the offending period.
In the case brought by the Marine and Fisheries Agency, offences included failing to submit sales notes, provide transport documents and breaches of licence quota restrictions.
The prosecution made an application for confiscation orders under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the case was adjourned for a sentencing hearing due to be held in April 2010.
