Scottish pelagic vessel Pathway has been sold to new owners in Russia.
Alasund Shipbrokers in Iceland have brokered a deal with a Russian buyer for Lunar Fishing’s Pathway to be sold to new owners in Russia.
Pathway PD-165 was built at the Simek yard in Norway in 2003. The 66.60 metre by 14.50 metre beam pelagic vessel has a 5913kW Wärtsilä main engine with a two-step gearbox. It has 1950 cubic metres of RSW capacity and a 1.70 million kCal Optimar ammonia RSW system.
The deck equipment, including 82 tonne trawl winches and 50 tonne net drums, are from Karmøy Winch, as is the 18 inch fish pump. Accommodation is for a crew of sixteen in single cabins.
Pathway is due to be delivered to its new owners next month.
