Mr Niels Wichman of Denmark as been elected as the New Chairman of the North Sea Regional Advisory Council (NSRAC) during the general assembly and executive committee which was held in Aberdeen Scotland recently.
Mr Wichman has many years experience charing international committees and is currently the chief of the Danish Fishermen’s Association.
Mr Wichman succeeds Hugo Anderson of Sweden who has been chairman of the NSRAC since it was formed in 2004. Mike Park (Executive chairman of the Scottish White Fish Producers’ Association (SWFPA) and Christine Absil (North Sea Foundation) were re-elected as vice chairs.
The NSRAC General Assembly was held in Scotland for the first time in six years on October 21 and 22..
