A 10.99-metre, 11gt Cleopatra has been handed over to Austevoll company Tøkje Båt. Completed by the yard in Iceland, the new Varde has been delivered to Norway and is about to start fishing.
The owner is Ole Tøkje, who is also sailing as the new Cleopatra 36’s skipper.
Varde has a 410hp FPT C90 main engine powering a ZF 286IV reduction gear, with the engine space in the aft section of the boat.
The hydraulic side thrusters forward and aft are linked to the autopilot.
The amidships fishroom has capacity for fifteen 380 litre tubs.
Varde is arranged on standard Cleopatra lines, with a control positon on the starboard side of the wheelhouse facing the bank of electronics, mainly Olex and Simrad systems. There’s a galley and large mess area on the port side, and in the compartment below are three bunks and a toilet and shower.
The deck is outfitted for netting, and the deck equipment is sourced locally and being fitted in Norway.
