The report states that the most of the commercial fishermen were booked for a variety of violations in the Egegik district of Bristol Bay. All arraignments listed are for Naknek District Court. Erik L. Hart, 37, of Sitka was cited on June 20 for operating the F/V Debra D without having a 2011 commercial fishing crewmember license in his possession. Bail was set at $260.
Jason E. Mitchell, 30, of Bellingham, WA., was cited on June 22 for operating the F/V Gold River without a valid registration displayed on the vessel. Bail was set at $60. David A. Conrad, 31, also of Bellingham, WA., was cited on June 23 for commercial fishing without possessing a 2011 Alaska commercial fishing crewmember license. Bail was set at $260.
Cited on June 22 for operating a fishing vessel without a current vessel document on board were Joseph M. Childers Jr. 58, of Olympia, WA., aboard the F/V Whiskey Creek; Jonathan A. Flora, 30, of Homer, of the F/V Eagle Claw; John M. Crosbie, 50, also of Homer, of the F/V Kasota without possessing a vessel document on board. Bail was set at $60, and Ross W. McDonald, 55, of Coqville, Oregon, of the F/V Mac Attack. Bail for each was set at $60.
John Baden Hansen, 54, of Anchorage, was cited June 24 for commercial fishing in closed waters in the Egegik district. Arraignment is scheduled for July 15. Andrew Sabol, 64, of Malibu, CA., was cited for commercial fishing in closed waters in the Egegik District. Arraignment is scheduled for July 22. Geoff L. Wyman, 63, of Dillingham, was cited on June 23 for commercial fishing in the Egegik District with a drift gill net with a red end buoy that was not marked with the defendant’s Alaska Department of Fish and Game number or vessel name. Arraignment is scheduled for July 20.
