China opens to import of Danish fishmeal

Mr Niels Wichman of Denmark as been elected as the New Chairman of the North Sea Regional Advisory Council (NSRAC) during the general assembly and executive committee which was held in Aberdeen Scotland recently.
Danish fishing’s new flagship, L349 “Gitte Henning”, was last week delivered to the Company. It was the owner and skipper Henning Kjeldsen himself, who sailed the ship from the yard in Skagen to the home port Thyborøn.
The ship is 75.4 meters long and 15.6 meters wide. It is equipped with a MAK main engines, providing impressive 8.200 HK
The new vessel is heading for Nexo on the island Bornholm in the Baltic, immediately after berthing in Nexo, the last formalities are carried out; transfer licenses and fishing surveillance equipment, before the ship sails on her first fishing trip, which is expected to be fishing for cod
The latest completion by the Vestværft, Hvide Sande , Denmark , is the Albatros O 91 for Henrik and Soren Clausen from Kerteminde
Newbuilding 406 from Karstensen Shipyard in Skagen, was launched and delivered to owners Kjaersgaard Hirtshals Ltd on 8 May 2009

Skipper Lars Kajgaard, Strandby, takes delivery of the 22 meter long newbuilding from the Vestværftet in Hvide Sande, Denmark.
Newbuildings 411 and 412 from Karstensen Shipyard in Skagen was handed over to skipper/owners Jens og Erik Vinther Poulsen on 3 July 2009. The following day, the 2 vessels were officially launched and named during a enjoyable ceremony at the owners homeport of Oesterby on the island of Laesoe. It has been many, many years since just a single newbuilding was delivered to Laesoe, and these 2 are by far the largest ever built to the island.
