Skipper Lars Kajgaard, Strandby, takes delivery of the 22 meter long newbuilding from the Vestværftet in Hvide Sande, Denmark.
Newbuildings 411 and 412 from Karstensen Shipyard in Skagen was handed over to skipper/owners Jens og Erik Vinther Poulsen on 3 July 2009. The following day, the 2 vessels were officially launched and named during a enjoyable ceremony at the owners homeport of Oesterby on the island of Laesoe. It has been many, many years since just a single newbuilding was delivered to Laesoe, and these 2 are by far the largest ever built to the island.

Last Friday was RI 568 Jette Mona baptized. The ship will be handed over to skipper Verner Møller this week, Verner Møller also owns the main part of RI 469 Juli-Ane.

Newbuilding no 403 from Karstensen Shipyard Ltd in Skagen, Denmark was handed over to Danish Owner Skagerak FiskeeksportA/S , Man. Dir Mr. Iver Espersen, Hirtshals on 3rd Novemberber 2007.
The new vessel replaces the owners previous “Strømegg”, which was built in 1975. Mr Páll Joensen will be skippering the “Strømegg”. He has been spippering the old vessel since 1986.
