It is told that all of the companies participating in ESE are set to benefit from the programme that provides them with one-to-one business support and direction to assist them to analyse their overall strategy and target profitable market opportunities through in-house business plan development.
According to BIM ESE is the best opportunity for Irish seafood industry to grow and innovate. BIM is also working with the industry on a continual basis to develop new products and opportunities. BIM’s CEO Jason Whooley explains differentiating Irish seafood products is key; and BIM is working closely with the industry on NPD and technology transfer to enable them to distinguish themselves from the many low cost alternatives available.
The main purpose of BIM’s work programme is to add value to Irish seafood through Innovation, New Product Development (NPD) and Technology Transfer.
