The first ever Skipper Expo Int. Bristol commercial fisheries show will be held at the end of this week (Friday 25th and Saturday 26th October) with the diverse range of exhibition stands expected to attract fishermen from all over England and Wales.
Stand space for the expo was sold out several weeks ago, underlining the strong support for the event. Exhibitors come from such diverse sectors such as marine electronics, engine suppliers, safety equipment, creels, chandlery and deck machinery. There will also be a display of a GM7M fishing vessel built by G Smyth Boats.
Sharon Boyle of organiser Mara Media said: “This is a fisheries expo specifically designed for the English and Welsh fishing industries and we hope as many as fishermen as possible visit the event and show their support. It will be a great place to do business and to meet with people and socialise.
“A vast range of equipment and services available within commercial fisheries today will be showcased at the event, and there will be something to interest every sector of the fishing industry.”
Mara Media already organise the highly successful Galway and Aberdeen commercial fisheries shows and are publishers of popular commercial fishing magazine – The Skipper.
Entry is free, and visitors can register on the day or pre-register online at www.maramedia.ie/registration or here below.
