A fourth new vivier crabber for Russian Far East fishing company Antey Group has been delivered by the Nakhodka Shipyard.
The 57.70-metre, 12.60 metre Mis Navarin follows an initial three vessels delivered dueing 2022 and is the fourth in a series of eight ordered by Antey to renew elderly tonnage.
The straight bow arrangement is designed to result in good seakeeeping qualities and stability to provide comfortable conditions for both the crew and the live catch.
Expected to operate in the Bering Sea and Sea of Okhotsk, Mis Navarin has capacity for 120 tonnes of live crab in its nine vivier tanks with an overall 680 cubic metre capacity.
