A seminar was held in the Mekong delta city of Can Tho on April 25 to discuss solutions to build a multi-purpose irrigation system for fresh and brackish water in line with climate change scenario. The seminar, entitled “Vietnam’s fisheries: Potential, Development and Integration”, was part of the Vietnam Seafood Festival 2010. It stressed the need to focus on human resources training for aquaculture, exploitation and processing.
