With the increased amount of orders for MSC approved products, and the increased demand for light salted fillet products, it has been decided to implement a second shift in the plant in Klaipeda. Initially, there will be employed a further 29 production workers and 1 team leader.
The new second shift is scheduled to start Monday 23rd February 2009, and will enable Espersen to produce an additional volume of 1.250 – 1.600 mt of finished products annually.
By diversifying our production with new species we will open up to new markets and new opportunities.
This will further strengthen Espersen’s position as the most important primary processing unit in Europe and contribute to our goal: improving our performance continuously.
