The first new factory freezer trawler for the Norwegian fleet is set to be delivered next year under an agreement signed between Kleven Maritime and trawler operator Prestfjord AS. The new ship is to be built to a Rolls-Royce design at the Myklebust Verft yard at Gursten in Norway, with delivery scheduled for November 2011.
Newbuilding 406 from Karstensen Shipyard in Skagen, was launched and delivered to owners Kjaersgaard Hirtshals Ltd on 8 May 2009
Newbuildings no 404 and 405 from Karstensen Shipyard Ltd in Skagen, Denmark was handed over to Scottish Owners Lunar Harvest on 2 July 2008. The new vessels replaces the owners previous vessels, with same names. Previous “Ocean Harvest” was sold internally in Scotland, where as the previous “Harvester” was lost in a collision in the North Sea 2 years ago.

Macduff Shipyards Limited have just completed their largest fishing vessel to date for Peter Lovie from Whitehills.
Danish fishing's new flagship, L349 "Gitte Henning", was last week delivered to the Company. It was the owner and skipper Henning Kjeldsen himself, who sailed the ship from the yard in Skagen to the home port Thyborøn. The ship is 75.4 meters long and 15.6 meters wide. It is equipped with a MAK main engines, providing impressive 8.200 HK
