The Trefjar yard at Hafnarfjörður in Iceland has delivered a new Cleopatra fast fishing boat to Norwegian fisherman Terje Moltubakk, who has already started fishing with the new boat.
The 14gt Sara Louise has been delivered to its owner in Nord-Lenangen in Troms and is a Cleopatra Fisherman 36, rigged for longlining with fishing hardware fitted on arrival in Norway.
The main engine is a 650hp Scania driving a ZF V-drive reduction gear and there is also a Nanni genset. The wheelhouse has been fitted out with mainly Furuno electronics and the setup includes a pair of hydraulically powered side thrusters that are linked to the autopilot to ensure the boat stays on the line when hauling at slow speeds.
Safety equipment has been delivered by Viking.
Sara Louise has capacity in the midships fishroom for fifteen 380 litre tubs.
The forward section is fitted out with accommodation with three bunks below, plus a toilet and shower. The wheelhouse is fitted with a mini-galley and dining area on the port side.
