This June, when the TripleNine Group A/S becomes a fact of life, it is the result of a merger between TripleNine A/S and Norwegian Vedde AS of which the latter formerly was fully-owned by the Norwegian family-owned Koppernæs Gruppen AS.
At the annual general meeting on May 11, the TripleNine Holding A/S shareholders and all represented votes (70%) decided to move forward with the merger with Vedde AS.
In 2012, TripleNine’s Board of Directors signed an agreement with Norwegian Koppernæs AS to merge the fishing operations of the two companies.
Malene S is a new-build, state-of-the-art 80 metre combined trawler and purse seiner, recently delivered to her owner Skårungen from a Turkish shipyard based in Istanbul.
The four Danish trawlers from Strandby FN 234 Canopus, FN 462 Jeanne, FN 354 Kristine Holst and FN 436 Tove Kajgaard all made some exceptional trips last week.
