Notus Electronics Ltd (Notus) of Canada has received and delivered an order for 40 Trawlmaster net monitoring systems. The need for these systems arose due to the newly adopted sector quota system in the Northeast ground fish fishery.

In December 2008, Notus installed a Trawlmaster system on the FV Chellissa which fishes out of Alaska.
Skipper Ben Downs operates the west coast trawler FV Jamie Marie. Earlier in 2009, Ben installed a Notus Trawlmaster net monitoring system. A 30% increase in catch was reported as the skipper could fine tune the gear for optimal fishing.
