According to the news report Vietnam remained one of the top seafood suppliers in the South Korea. It is told that Vietnam mainly exports octopus, processed fish and frozen shrimps to the South Korea with an annual average volume of 7,300 tonnes. The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers informed that it will work with the South Korea’s Fisheries Trade Association to share information on the demands for new products in the South Korea to expand the market.
Sources said that both the parties have agreed to inform each other if low quality products are discovered. The new information also revealed that there are more three enterprises were added into the list of companies satisfy conditions to export seafood to Korea include: Viet Hai Seafood Export Processing Limited Company, Sao Bien Seafood Joint Stock Company and Viet Thai Private Company. Experts believe that this is a golden chance for the Vietnamese companies to expand their seafood export to this market.
