The former Dutch-based German-registered euro cutters, Amrunbank SC20 and the Wikingbank SC10 are expected to arrive at the Devon (UK) fishing port of Brixham at the end of this month (May) after being purchased by Langdon & Philip.

Sisterships to the Catharina BM 111 which is also owned by the Langdon and Philip, the two euro cutters have previously been used for beaming, twin-rigging, pair trawling, pair seining and shrimping.
The two vessel were originally fitted with Deutz 223kW main engines., the Amrumbank and Wilingbavnk were previously owned by Seefischereibetrieb Hecht GmbH in Partnership with the Sneok Family of Urk, Holland.
The Amrumbank was fitted with a new Mitsubishi S6MPTA 223kW main engine in 2004. Wikingbank was fitted with a similar unit in 2007.
Before the two euro-cutters arrive at Brixham Devon’s main fishing port they will be renamed and re-registered, with Amrunbank becoming BM 110 and Wikingbank BM 112.
