Concarneau tuna operator CFTO has parted with three of its vessels, sold to Omani company Rawanq Al Salam.
The sale of the three Piriou-built sister vessels Drennec, Glenan and Trevignon has been arranged as the P&P-owned CFTO slims down its fleet of tropical tuna purse seiners.
This ‘en bloc’ deal between CFTO and Rawanq Al Salam was brokered by Spanish shipbroker Albino Moran, as the sole advisor and shipbroker for both parties.
Drennec, Glenan and Trevignon were built in 2006 and measure 84 metres LOA with a 13.80 metre beam. Each has a 1600 cubic metre well capacity and a 250 tonne/day freezing capacity.
