The Aquamarine fish canning factory in Sevastopol plans to acquire ten new fishing vessels, to be built at the local Zvezdochka yard, according to the Sevastopol regional authority.
‘The Russian Federation’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has a programme to subsidise up to 30% of the costs of building fishing vessels, but Sevastopol was not included,’ said Deputy Governor of Sevastopol Maria Litovko.
‘We are working to fix this. We hope that in the near future Sevastopol will be included in this subsidy, which means it will help our enterprises.’
So far the construction schedule is at a planning stage.
