Vyborg Shipyard, part of United Shipbuilding Corporation, took part in the 14th NEVA International Maritime Exhibition and Conferences on civil shipbuilding, shipping, port technique and ocean & shelf development.
At the joint USC stand VSY presented models of its vessels under construction to interested customers. Vyborg Shipyard already has orders for several series of new fishing vessels for customers in Russia.
Discussions took place during the event, resulting in a number of contracts being signed with suppliers for new fishing vessels, including a contract with Wärtsilä for the supply of main diesel generator and propulsion systems for freezer trawlers and for fish processing and fishmeal plants for new fishing vessels.
VSY representatives took part in NEVA business programme during the event.
Vyborg Shipyard, one of the leading civil shipbuilding enterprises in Russia, is a regular participant of NEVA international maritime exhibition. This year, 600 benchmark companies from 36 countries exhibited their products at NEVA .
