On 13-15th October 2021 the DanFish International exhibition will take place in Aalborg, and this will be the first physical commercial fisheries exhibitions in Denmark since the arrival of Covid-19 pandemic.
The export network Danish Export–Fish Tech is the organiser of Pavilion of Denmark, which this year gathers more than 90 Danish companies. According to Martin Winkel Lilleøre, Head of Fish Tech, the Danish suppliers are excited about meeting stakeholders, customers, and professionals from the fisheries industry face-to-face again at DanFish.
‘The representatives from the Danish companies are longing to meet each other, their customers and other stakeholders face-to-face. The restrictions have now been removed entirely in Denmark, and this is also reflected in the strong level of participation from the Danish companies, which is on par with previous years at DanFish. The international visitors can therefore also expect to meet a strong Danish line up on their home turf,’ said Martin Winkel Lilleøre.
The Danish exhibitors covers a wide range of expertise and skills which can help the international fisheries industry, such as with energy efficiency improvements and conversions to meet the green agenda.
‘When we are traveling around the world, we often hear that Danish companies have a very important strength in their readiness for change, which in particular is reflected when collaborating with customers to develop customised solutions. This willingness and ability to think outside the ordinary is essential when new fishing vessels are being built or or existing vessels are in need new equipment – and this makes Danish suppliers innovative partners,’ he said.
