The 100th newbuild to be delivered by the Tersan yard in Turkey, Argos Helena was floated off in the spring and has now been delivered to its Norwegian owners Ervik Havfiske.
The MarinTeknikk-designed Argos Helena has a 60.50 metre overall length and a 13 metre beam, has a Yanmar 6EY26W main engine and is designed to operate on toothfish in the Southern Ocean.
The UK-registered longliner is designed to operate in challenging conditions and the line is hauled through a moonpool, providing a safer workspace for the crew, and with the catch routed to an advanced processing deck.
Accommodation on board is for a crew of up to 30.
Argos Helena is the sixth vessel vessel to be built to a Marin Teknikk design by Tersan, following Froyanes Junior and Vestkapp which were delivered last year and which have been fishing successfully this year.
