Skipper Expo Int. Bristol 2018 gets underway at the end of next week (Thursday 27th and Friday 28th September), providing a comprehensive showcase of the latest equipment and support services available to the fishing industry today.
A special feature of the event is the large amount of equipment that will be on display, and several companies will also be promoting special offers on their stands, making the show the perfect venue for snapping-up a great deal.
To accommodate this extra equipment, a number of companies have opted for larger stands, including Gael Force Group, Hercules Hydraulics and Scania. There will also be an indoor boat display within the exhibiting venue at the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.
All this, combined with special show offers from companies such as Coastal Nets, Mantsbrite Marine, Marine Supplies Int, Sola-Cure and Tecmarine, as well as others, will ensure that the expo is a ‘must visit’ event for fishermen from throughout England, Wales and beyond.
Sponsored by the National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations (NFFO), this is the sixth show in the Skipper Expo Int. series aimed at the fishing industry in England and Wales, and according to Federation chief executive Barrie Deas, it is great to see the event now so well-established in the fishing industry calendar.
“There is a real need for a fishing expo of this type for England, Wales, and indeed further afield, which is why we are delighted to support it this year, especially since we are now entering a crucial period for UK fishing with Brexit looming,” he said.
“This is the fishing industry’s show and it is great to see that feedback from visitors to last year’s event has been met with such a positive response by exhibitors, so as to ensure there is an even greater range of equipment on display,” commented Sharon Boyle of show organiser Mara Media.
