Seiner twins ordered from Stadyard

Stadyard has has announced that orders have been placed for a pair of coastal seiner net/purse seiners for delivery in the summer of 2025.

The two new coastal seiners will be delivered by Stadyard in 2025

Arild Sekkingstad of fishing company Oma Kyst AS and Emil, Håkon and Johannes Økland of Pr Jari AS have placed the orders for their new Seacon-designed vessels.

The design is a development on that of TA Senior, which was delivered by the yard as its newbuild no 39 in 2017.

The identical new vessels measure 14.99 metres overall, with an 8 metre beam, have 120 cubic metres of RSW tank capacity and a 20 cubic metre fuel capacity. Accommodation will be in two single and two double cabins.

Oma Kyst AS’s new vessel will be Stadyard’s newbuild no 48 and will be Katrine S, while Pr Jari AS’s vessel will be newbuild no 49 and will be Kalsøybas.
