Two trawlers with freezing capacity have been sold from Spain to Sea Harvest in South Africa.
The 45-metre Cova Balea was built at Armón Burela for Spanish owners. It has a 25 tonne/day freezing capacity with a 452 cubic metre refrigerated fishroom and is powered by a 1250hp ABC main engine.
This acquisition follows the purchase of the 49.90-metre Santo do Mar, which was built at Astilleros Cies in 2004. This trawler has a 1480hp Wärtsilä main engine and 655 cubic metre refrigerated fishroom.
Both transactions were handled by Albino Moran Shipbrokers, acting as the sole advisor and shipbroker throughout.
