With a new name and an exciting new venue, Scottish Skipper Expo 2020 will be held on 15th and 16th May at the new P&J Live exhibition arena in Aberdeen.
The success of the Aberdeen event in recent years, with it now firmly established as one of Europe’s most important fisheries expos, has led to the name change to properly reflect its national and international reputation within the fishing industry for being a great place to do business.
Mara Media’s managing director Hugh Bonner and commercial fishing manager Sharon Boyle recently visited Aberdeen to tour the new P&J Live venue and were impressed with the facilities on offer.
‘We are delighted that the new-look Scottish Skipper Expo 2020 will be launched at the fabulous new P&J Live exhibition arena, which offers more space, better facilities and an enhanced overall visitor experience compared to the previous venue,’ Sharon Boyle said.
‘Our most recent Aberdeen exhibition earlier this year was hailed by exhibitors and visitors alike as the best ever, with a sell-out attendance of 230 exhibitors from 22 different countries. We’ve already had a huge amount of interest from companies looking to exhibit at Scottish Skipper Expo 2020.’
She commented that Aberdeen is the perfect venue for an exhibition of this sort – right in the Scottish fishing heartland of the north-east, combined with fantastic transport links and a superb choice of hotel accommodation.
‘We are really looking forward to welcoming exhibitors and visitors to Scottish Skipper Expo 2020, which promises to be a fantastic event.’
Scottish Skipper Expo 2020 will be held at the P&J Live arena on 15th and 16th May 2020, opening times will be 1000-1800 on Friday 15th May and 1000-1600 on Saturday 16th May.
