Scanmar has announced the official release of the new ScanBas 365, which incorporates the newly developed WDR-42 receiver and a top-line industrial computer in a system designed to replace older ScanBas systems.
‘We have always worked closely with the most experienced fishermen and most research institutes. Through our close relationships with the most knowledgeable players in the field, we learn what problems they encounter, and aim to create products that best help resolve them,’ a Scanmar spokesman said, commenting that the new ScanBas 365 represents a milestone in this development process.
‘A modern interface, modular and flexible, with quick and easy sensor configuration, as well as new advanced tracking functions, remote help and control, are just some of the game-changing improvements. It’s crucial to equip the fishermen with high-quality tools that allow the application of their skill and knowledge. ScanBas 365 provides the professional user just this. An unmatched degree of overview and control, enabling him to take his efficiency to the next level, and giving him the advantage.’
The physical components of the system are made up by the newly developed WDR-42 receiver, and a top-of-the-line industrial marine computer and completely replaces older ScanBas systems, including SRU.
