In recent years Grovfjord Båtbyggeri and NSK Ship Design have developed a strong partnership in the design and construction of high-quality coastal fishing vessels – and are now presenting a new version combination fishing vessel that builds on the experience gained from newbuilds up to now.
The new NSK design has been developed to meet a challenge set by Grovfjord Boatbygeri and Tommy Dammen and Erling Santi Falch of Saga-Holding, and the designer states that the layout provides capabilities that are usually seen on larger vessels.
The design is a 14.99 metre vessel with an 8 metre beam, and a 120 cubic metre RSW capacity. The deck is arranged for seine and purse seine, with a large net bin, a deck machinery package from Lofoten Hydraulikk and a powerful set of side thrusters.
It incorporates accommodation for up to six persons in comfortable crew quarters on board.
This addition to the range of vessels for a variety of uses is added to the portfolio offered by NSK Ship Design and Grovfjord Båtbygeri.
