The owners of Norwegian fishing company Båragutt Havfiske went to Vetsværftet for the construction of their new trawler/seine netter, and the choice of deck equipment has gone to Naust Marine.
The 49.95-metre, 13-metre breadth Eilifson will have a 650 cubic metre fishroom with capacity for fresh and frozen storage.
The new Eilifson is being outfitted with a Naust Marine systems, including pairs of both trawl and seine winches, and Naust’s Automatic Trawl Winch (ATW) control system.
These are part of a comprehensive package of electric deck equipment which includes three double sweepline winches, and a double net drum. Also part of the Naust Marine package are two codend winches, pairs of inhaul and outhaul winches, plus anchor winches and eight one-tonne hydraulic winches.
The Naust Marine equipment for Eilifson is scheduled to be delivered to the yard in Hvide Sande at the end of this year.
