A terminal, logistics centre and capacity for cold storage have been opened in Primorye Russia’s far east, with fishing and processing company Dobroflot behind the initiative.
This development includes a 120-metre renovated deep water berth capable of receiving reefers with a 5500 tonne capacity. Next to this is a 15,000-tonne cold store and a 5000 square metre dry warehouse. The complex also includes a 500 TEU container yard and rail connections.
The Bolshoi Kamen complex is able to receive landings of fish from carrier or fishing vessels, shipping catches to processing plants in the region and to central Russia and CIS nations with via access to existing rail networks. The complex also offers services including bunkering, pilotage, scientific and other services.
