Lerøy Seafood Group has joined the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI) as a funding partner.

The Group’s core business is the production of salmon and trout, whitefish, processing, product development, marketing, sale and distribution of seafood.
Every day 4500 staff contribute to delivering seafood corresponding to five million meals to shops, restaurants, canteens and hotels.
Lerøy Seafood Group has an extensive range of sustainable, healthy products served on tables in more than 80 different countries. Its main office is located in Bergen, but they have fishing vessels and fish farms in operation along the entire coast of Norway. Production and packaging plants are located in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Turkey, as well as sales offices in the USA, Japan and China.
