Due to the continuing uncertainty around Covid-19, the organisers of the Irish Skipper Expo 2021 in Limerick and Scottish Skipper Expo 2021 in Aberdeen have taken the decision to postpone both events until 2022.
‘We are extremely disappointed at having to make this difficult decision, but there are still too many issues surrounding mass gatherings and travel. The safety of exhibitors, visitors and the wider public is our first priority,’ said Mara Media managing director Hugh Bonner.
‘Making this decision now will also remove any uncertainty about the 2021 expos and provide the fishing industry with the opportunity for clear forward planning. Moving forward to 2022, we are committed to bringing everyone together face-to-face in a safer environment.’
2022 show dates will be announced in the near future.
