IFFO has appointed Adriana Giudice as President and Egil Magne Haugstad as Vice-President for the 2026–2027 term, following elections for the The Marine Ingredients Organisation’s new management board.
Adriana Giudice is CEO of Austral Group and a board member for Latin America of the current (2024-25) IFFO Board. Austral Group is one of Peru’s leading producers of fishmeal, fish oil and frozen fish. The company operates four processing plants and 19 fishing vessels.
‘I am very proud to take on the role of President of the IFFO Board as of 1st January 2026. I look forward to contributing to IFFO’s vision of leading the responsible development of marine ingredients globally and bringing my expertise from Peru on innovation and sustainability,’ Adriana Giudice said.
Pelagic CEO Egil Magne Haugstad is President of the current IFFO Board and a board member for Europe. Based in Norway and with fishmeal and fish oil production in Norway, England, Scotland and Ireland, Pelagia is the world’s largest producer of pelagic seafood and Norway’s leading manufacturer of high-quality omega-3 concentrates.

Outgoing board members are Felipe Zaldivar, Fernando Ribaudo, Dan James and Johann Peter Andersen, while Cristian Larrain, Gustavo Delgado Aparicio, Hafthor Eiriksson and Bjorn Kwak join the IFFO board for the 2026-27 term.
