Ibercisa Deck Machinery has just supplied the deck equipment for the new trawler under construction at Tersan for Russian fishing company JSC Okeanrybflot.
The new trawler, a sister vessel to Georgiy Meshcheryakov, is owned by the same company and designed by Skipsteknisk. It has a 108.20 metre overall length, a 20 metre beam and accommodation for a crew of up to 150.
The factory deck is designed to handle and freeze pollock, herring and squid during carious seasons, and to be able to produce fishmeal and fish oil at sea while operating on fishing grounds off Kamchatka and in the Easter Pacific.
Ibercisa is supplying the new trawler with a package of electric deck equipment, including a pair of 525kW split trawl winches with a 78-tonne pull. Included in the package are cod end, out haul, net sounder, auxiliary, gilson, anchor, mooring and tail end winches, as well as capstans.
The order as a whole extends to 48 electric winches, plus power and control cabinets enabling energy regeneration and the latest Scantrol iSym winch control system.
Ibercisa’s remote control system is also included in this series and offers complete technical support from a technical team based in Vigo with 24/7 availability, regardless of the operation zones.
