Vestværftet in Hvide Sande has delivered new netter/crabber Inaluk to Knud Lennert. The new vessel called in Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands on its delivery trip to Sisimiut.
The 14.99 metre Inaluk has a 6.60 metre beam and accommodation for a crew of up to six, with the outfitting completed by the yard’s staff.
Built to a Vestværftet design, Inaluk’s hull was constructed in Gdansk and brought to the yard in Hvide Sande for outfitting. Designed to alternate netting and trap fishing for crab, it has both a conventional 45 cubic metre fishroom and 11 cubic metres of vivier tank capacity to make it possible to land live crab.
The hydraulic system has been supplied by Thyborøn Skibs & Motor and Inaluk has a hydraulic trap hauler, a Lormek net hauler and an anchor winch.
The main engine is a 331kW Volvo Penta D16 driving a 1600mm Korsør fixed pitch propeller via a ZF W 350 reduction gear with a PTO for the hydraulics. The genset is a 34kVa Baudouin.
Scan Steering supplied the MT-1000 steering. Vest-EL outfitted the electrics and the electronic systems.
