With just over 6 weeks to go, Hugh Bonner, one of the organisers of the ?Scottish Skipper Expo 2011? and ?The Skipper? fishing publication visited the East Coast of the UK to meet with the local fishing industry on their own doorstep. The trip last week took in the ports of Grimsby, Hull, Scarborough, Whitby, North Shields, Blyth, Amble & Eyemouth.
During the trip, Hugh met with a number of companies, industry representatives and fishermen in order to further promote the show in Aberdeen and the monthly publication ?The Skipper?.
Jim Morrison of Parkol Marine who has already confirmed his stand said, ?I?m delighted to meet with Hugh in person and hear all about plans for the show and ?The Skipper? paper being rolled out across the UK. We as an industry are very impressed with the high level of commitment shown by the organisers of this event, they are continually working with us in order to deliver a sensational show that has the backing of the industry from sea to plate.?
Hugh would like to thank the fishing community of the East Coast of the UK for their exceptional hospitality and support during his trip.
