Jemar Norpower in Kristiansund have completed a compact combination fishing boat for Hammerfest skipper Leif Jonny Isaksen, designed for seine netting and pursing.
The 12.99 metre, 4.45 metre beam Solvskjær is built with a forward wheelhouse and a long working deck aft, and with the port side shelterdecked. The wheelhouse provides an all-round view.
Accommodation in the forward section includes three berths and every convenience, and there is a galley/mess area located in the roomy wheelhouse on the port side – opposite the starboard side control position with Navico, Furuno, Olex, ProNav and Scanmar electronics supplied by Retronic. NorSap supplied the skipper’s chair.
Solvskjær has a 450hp, 13-litre Nogva Scania D13 71M main engine driving a four-bladed Nogva propeller via a Nogva HC-258 gearbox.
The fore and aft side thrusters are Sleipner SH550 units.
The catch handling tanks on deck are from Småldal Mekaniske and there is a 34 cubic metre fishroom amidships.
Lorentzen Hydraulik supplied the deck equipment on board, with a two-drum, 3000kg main winch, anchor winch and 600kg capstan, along with the seine rope davits, blocks and rigging for the boom.
The TB1600 triple block for seining and pursing is deployed on a TMP500L deck crane with radio control, supplied by Meydam.
