Icelandic GRP boatbuilder Trefjar has delivered a new Cleopatra Fisherman 36 to skipper/owner Daniel Lauritzen, who has already started fishing with the new boat from Kjøllefjord in Norway.
The 11 metre Tinder weighs in at 14gt and is fitted out with a longline system from Icelandic supplier Beitir, while the fishing gear has been sourced locally in Norway.
Tinder has a midships fishroom with capacity for fifteen 380 litre tubs.
The engine room is aft and houses the 410hp Scania D9 main engine which drives a ZF reduction gear. There is also a 7.5kW Nanni genset on board and Tinder has also been fitted with a Quick gyro anti-rolling system which is located in the engine room.
The wheelhouse is split into a control area to starboard fitted out with mainly JRC electronics, as well as an autopilot linked to the bow thruster for accurate handling at low speed when hauling.
The port side of the wheelhouse is laid out with mess area and there is a fully-equipped galley below, along with bunks for three and a toilet and shower.
