Processing equipment manufacturer Baader has appointed Jákup Sørensen to manage Baader Danmark as of 1st January 2023, and is ending its longstanding relationship with Faroese agent Petur Larsen from 30th April next year.
Jákup Sørensen takes over as Anders Lorentzen retires after 37 years with Baader Danmark, having been its managing director since 1999 with responsibility for Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Sweden. The new MD has been with Baader as sales manager since 2018, specifically dealing with Faroese customers while ensuring co-operation with Baader Denmark and the company’s headquarters in Lübeck.
Baader is terminating its co-operation with Faroese Baader specialist and service partner Petur Larsen, which has services Baader equipment in the Faroe Islands, Greenland and elsewhere since the 1970s. Baader is preparing to open its own service and sales outlet in Tórshavn in early 2023.
